1. Agreement to Terms
These Terms of Use ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "you," or "your") and DailyTaskr ("we," "our," or "us"), governing your access to and use of the DailyTaskr mobile application (the "App").
By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the App, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the App.
2. License Grant
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and non-sublicensable license to download and use the App on devices that you own or control, strictly for your personal and non-commercial purposes.
You agree not to:
- Copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works of the App.
- Modify, reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App.
- Rent, lease, lend, sell, sublicense, or otherwise transfer rights in the App.
- Use the App in any unlawful manner, for any unlawful purpose, or in violation of these Terms.
3. Intellectual Property Rights
All intellectual property rights in the App, including but not limited to software, source code, design, logos, graphics, trademarks, and text, are owned by us or our licensors. Except for the limited license granted herein, no rights are transferred to you.
4. User Data and Privacy
DailyTaskr is designed with a privacy-first approach.
- Task data, reminders, and preferences are stored locally on your device.
- We do not collect, store, or process your task data on our servers.
- If you choose to contact us via email, we may retain your correspondence for support purposes.
Your use of the App is also subject to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference into these Terms.
5. Notifications and Permissions
The App may request permission to send local device notifications based on the reminders you configure. You may enable, disable, or modify such notifications at any time in your device settings.
The App does not request access to sensitive device data such as contacts, calendar, photos, location, microphone, or camera.
6. Fees and Payments
Our Apps may offer various subscription plans, including weekly, monthly, yearly, or lifetime options. Some features or content may require additional in-app purchases. All transactions are handled through the app store, and we do not collect or manage payment information.
7. Disclaimers
The App is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, reliability, availability, or non-infringement.
We do not guarantee that the App will function uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that defects will be corrected.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law:
- We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of the App.
- Our total liability to you, for any claim arising out of or related to these Terms or your use of the App, shall not exceed the amount you paid (if any) for accessing the App.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App immediately, without prior notice or liability, if you breach these Terms or engage in unlawful use of the App. Upon termination, your right to use the App will cease immediately.
10. Modifications to the App and Terms
We reserve the right to modify, update, suspend, or discontinue the App, in whole or in part, at any time without liability or prior notice.
We may also revise these Terms periodically. The "Effective Date" at the top of this page indicates when the Terms were last updated. Continued use of the App after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Germany, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
If you are a consumer residing in the European Union, you may also benefit from mandatory provisions of the laws of your country of residence.
12. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
13. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding your use of the App and supersede any prior agreements or understandings.
